Late April I landed in Paris on a sunny Thursday morning for a brief five-day/four-night visit. Cue Ella Fitzgerald singing “April in Paris.”

Below are photos from the adventure, along with the basic itinerary.

Thursday arrival, tea and treats at Merci cafe, check into my funky AirBnb with a tub in the bedroom, sip pink juice with Coterie love Helen at Wild and the Moon

Friday photo shoot to highlight TDJ out and about (will share pics shortly), stroll through Musée des Archives Nationales, meet up with Sara (Tim’s cousin living in Belgium), late lunch at La Favorite, search for Pavlovas, late night jazz at Hôtel d’Aubusson

Saturday walk through the Tuileries to Musée de l’Orangerie for the Impressionist Decorations exhibit, brunch at Pinky Bloom, Pavlovas in the rain at Club Marigny in Jardin des Champs-Élysées, browse at Smith&Son English bookstore, walked 11.2 miles

Sunday walk through the Tuileries to Musée d’Orsay to see the YSL exhibit and dine at the restaurant (note matcha cheesecake in photo below), home for ballet class

Monday sip Moroccan mint tea at Grande Mosquée de Paris, brunch at La Favorite with Mara (my web designer), fly back to DC

Here’s a peek at more recommended spots in the City of Light. Have one I’m missing? Share below! Thanks for traveling along with me! x
