Kimberly welcomed me into the writing salon before I even arrived, with a series of mindful journaling questions to prepare for the session. Then, she opened her atelier, a divine, cozy space in the heart of the city, for an intimate and engaging class. Kimberly offered tools, tips, and prompts to enliven the practice of writing. I left having reconnected with my voice and inspired to share it with others. Highly recommend Kimberly’s salon as an investment in your best creative self. —Carol

Kimberly gave us a room of our own, and room of our own to imagine and grow our writing selves. What a gift she gave to shine a light on all the ways we are writers in the world, and dream of the writing to come—all while fueled on yummy snacks, teas, and the wisdom of a welcoming group of women. As I look ahead to the NEXT Writing Salon, it’s fun to imagine the path I’ll write to get there!—Justine

Thank you so much for all of your valuable insights on Saturday! The writing salon was the perfect opportunity for me to jump back into writing in a lovely and encouraging setting. I thoroughly enjoyed being with creative kindred spirits.—Tracy

Imagine….. spending an afternoon in a cozy space, with women who share your passion for writing.  Kimberly provided lots of helpful tips for enhancing my writing, and new ideas for sharing my voice with others.  I left feeling inspired, energized, and recommitted to my writing practice.—Sally

I have such a hard time letting go in my normal writing practice, as I am typically distracted by the intended outcome of the piece and the experience of the reader. The writing retreats offer me a time to write for writing’s sake, follow my own voice, and renew my passion for the process itself. The combination of learning and creating is especially effective in helping me feel confident in my unique voice.—Shannon
