1. lay out fabric and pin sides to sew

 2. cut v-neck + place trim along front v + sew

3. voila, my new vintage lace caftan

remember in august’s newsletter where i mentioned picking up lace curtains at a thrift store with the intention to turn into a dress? well, above is the process that i started early september and finished up at today’s sewing session. j’adore the finished product and can’t wait to rock it!
