Featured Tranquilista: Amanda Hirsch
I build support for good causes, good products and good art — aka “Good Things.”
I do this by creating content/social media/blog strategies that move people to action, and by writing and editing content that takes my clients’ strategies off the shelf and into the world. I also help people become better champions for their own work with my e-course, Telling Your Story Online.
I have 14+ years of experience working for clients ranging from big nonprofits and indie media companies like PBS, NPR and March of Dimes to small businesses, start-ups freelancers and artists. I’ve built extensive networks full of other passionate people who are eager to support Good Things, and I love putting those networks to work for my clients.
I’ve given talks about online storytelling at the National Press Club, the National Film Board of Canada, the American Press Institute and elsewhere.
In addition, I’m the co-founder (with my husband, Jordan) of THINK IMPROV, a training company that helps people apply the concepts of improv comedy to their lives and work. We were voted an audience favorite at SXSW. You should hire us.

TranquiliT is a line of layers in rayon made from organic bamboo and designed by moi. We sew locally and plant 150 trees monthly while also donating a portion of proceeds to Tranquil Space Foundation and Farm Sanctuary. In addition, we offer vintage and reclaimed goodies because it doesn’t get more eco than reusing!
