Recent Releases:
Tranquilologie: A DIY Guide to Everyday Tranquility: This formerly released e-course has been enhanced, revised, and turned into a hardcover 200-page full-color artsy limited edition book to serve up even more inspiration. Only 1000 copies will be printed and each will be signed and numbered with love (and a pink pen). This do-it-yourself field guide takes you from January through December with doses of inspiration covering eight topics–mindfulness, self-care, nesting, do-gooding, work, style, creativity, dreams–in a nouveau way each month.
Tranquility du Jour Daybook: It’s a pink planner, lifestyle organizer, and wellness guide all in one. This perfect complement to Tranquilologie is filled with checklists, inspiration, eye candy, and 52 dateless week spreads so you can start at anytime. Watch our how-to video with Carol Meyers.
Summer Seasonal Podcast: Released in June and filled with gems for making this summer mindful and tranquil.
Featured Tranquilista: Rachael Rice
I help individuals identify their latent dream and get clarity on a plan of action to make it come true. I have a special gift for working with women who have issues around trauma, anxiety, depression and have done some work in therapy but are ready to take their creativity to the next level.
My group coaching sessions are a cross between a class and a salon, and are available on a sliding scale.
I also create “Cosmic American” art and accessories inspired by a blend of the natural world, indigenous cultures, mysticism, camp crafts, and rock ‘n’ roll culture. I write songs about love and trees and women. I play guitar, harmonica, ukulele and other stringed instruments, I adore singing harmony, and believe in transformation.
I produce high-profile events such as music tribute nights with my all-female rock revue The Vulva Underground.
A licensed public school art teacher-turned freelance solopreneur, I spent over 10 years in the classroom. I was the manager of the non-profit social enterprise ReSTORE, worked as the Director of Outreach & Development for a grassroots complementary currency non-profit health care program called Reach Care Bank, and as a community-based arts consultant, providing direct service arts programming to low-income folks all over the country.
I moved from Montpelier, Vermont to Portland in August 2011, and currently live, perform, and dream with my partner Dan Haley.

TranquiliT is a line of layers in rayon made from organic bamboo and designed by moi. We sew locally and plant 150 trees monthly while also donating a portion of proceeds to Tranquil Space Foundation and Farm Sanctuary. In addition, we offer vintage and reclaimed goodies because it doesn’t get more eco than reusing!
