i had high hopes to finish this month’s online book club pick while most of our retreaters were gallivanting through grasse on an all-day excursion. alas, i’ve found myself handling challenging matters back home (le sigh) coupled with sending off a france-filled bonjour with survey to tranquility du jour newsletter subscribers. insert squeal o’ glee.
