TDJ by Kimberly is a locally-sewn clothing line filled with versatile, seasonless designs crafted in eco-friendly, vegan fabrics. All pieces are custom made with each order.
Launched in 2002 with yoga pants and tees, DC-based creative entrepreneur Kimberly Wilson dreamed of a chic and comfy clothing line that transitioned easily from ballet class to board meetings—and everything in between.
A lover of style since her early days hiking the Oklahoma hills in a bonnet, bell bottoms, and graphic tee with a purse in tow, she became obsessed with mix and match knit clothing in the ’80s (remember Units and Multiples?!).
In 2004 she moved beyond tees and yoga pants to add timeless tunics and dresses to wear alone or over yoga pants, along with luxurious wraps in flowy, flattering designs to fit many bodies.
TDJ by Kimberly is more than an artisanal clothing company. In 2020 we transitioned the clothing to an all-noir collection for these 10 reasons.

MEET OUR LOCAL SEAMSTRESS
Renee is a clothing construction expert and production seamstress working with women’s clothing. For over a decade she has produced the collection. Every piece is hand-cut individually, sewn one at a time then wrapped and shipped with love.
Her long career in the fashion field began after studies in French design and construction methods at the Academy Nvart. Among the many projects through the years, Renee has produced celebrity garments and restyled and designed vintage silk kimonos to turn them into one-of-a-kind wearable art pieces.
Renee is a firm believer in the support of made local, shop local trend and loves working with customers who can appreciate the quality of the handmade handsewn method. She loves things Parisian and beautiful, old books, and all things tea.
