1. ponder project from little green dresses. chose egg dress, p. 157.
2. make pattern and split it for fabric flow. trim with rotary cutter.
3. drape on mannequin.
next i hit the sewing machine and gathered the neckline with elastic thread (my new favorite thing). finally, i stitched up the shoulders, sides and armholes (curves are hard!).
voila, i have a new, darling dress made of TranquiliT’s bamboo fabric.
i’ll rock it in tomorrow’s signature style shot.
artistic play is the perfect way to start my day!
