welcome to monday. our chance to begin again
over the weekend i hosted the annual spring art + yoga retreat at le beau’s cabin in the woods and was blessed with a divine group from arizona, new york, pennsylvania, and dc.
the weekend was infused with encouragement to stay present and connected to the senses.
being out of the city’s hustle and screeching sirens, surrounded by chirping birds and the swooshing sound of wind offers an opportunity to drop in.
drop in to the moment. drop in to the body. and drop in to dreams.
when our minds {and lives} are stuffed with to-dos, we can easily miss the importance of to-be.
to be present. to be grateful. to be open. to be compassionate. to be generous. to be . . .
how would you like to be today? grant yourself permission to be present. to listen to your colleague. to speak with compassion. to breathe when feeling overwhelmed. to extend kindness to yourself. to savor your meal.
may your monday offer an opportunity to stay present and connected to your senses. bisous. x
