Week 6: Single-Task

Most days I find myself surrounded by a journal, Daybook, laptop, phone, books, and multiple writing tools. Rarely will I sit down with a clear desk sans distractions.

For years I responded to emails as they came in and felt chained to my computer or phone. Pre-WIFI and smartphones, I didn’t want to leave the house to work because I’d miss email. Sigh.
