Drink your tea slowly and reverently, as if it is the axis on which the world revolves – slowly, evenly, without rushing toward the future. Live the actual moment. Only this moment is life.

Drink your tea slowly and reverently,
as if it is the axis
on which the world earth revolves

rushing toward the future;
Live the actual moment.

i can’t stop searching for tea stuff and just found this fun page to share: http://www.herbs-teas.com/recipesideas.html

just back from michael moore’s latest movie, sicko, and it is very thought provoking. i’ve been on a kick lately where i only want to watch documentaries. guess it has something to do with my passion for only reading non-fiction.

finally, i hit cnn.com tonight for my regular worldly updates and was sooooo sad to see the article on dog fighting! one night at the emergency vet (bonnard had probably eaten something odd . . . can’t recall why we were there), the animal channel had a piece on this and i can’t get the horror out of my head. i don’t encourage watching the videos as they are heart-wrenching, but i promise to look into activist work that can be done to help change this and hope you’ll join me on the journey. here is a fact sheet about it from the humane society that outlines some small steps we can take.
