two more days before i dash off to costa rica for a week. i *adore* this country. the people, the landscape, the sounds, the succulent papaya – everything is SO special and so different. we have an amazing group of women joining us and i can’t wait to dive into the practice of yoga in this amazing setting. truly restorative (despite the flight leaving at the ungodly hour of 6am!).

i won’t have e-mail access while away (may get the shakes) so i’m not sure about blogging. hoping to be able to share a muse here and there, but not sure what to expect. i am usually 100% offline when galivanting around this amazing country. here’s a peek at our schedule:

Saturday: Travel Day Au Revoir!

truly divine, no? i’ll be sure to share oodles of pictures and stories upon return. hopefully all will entail the consumption of papaya. have i expressed how much i *adore* that orange thing? ahhhh!

feeling a nice downshift transpiring in dc right now. last night i spent 2 hours with my teacher training mentees sipping tea outside teaism. truly decadent considering most nights are filled with classes or meetings. to sit and sip for 2 hours felt like i was playing hooky from life. loved it. e-mails are light, people are moving and graduating, others are dashing out of town early for the long holiday, and there seems to be a lot of transition coupled with a slower pace this week. it’s a beautiful time of the year!

embrace the downshift. curl up with a good book (currently reading about 50!). nap. listen to music. light a candle. make a spinach salad. watch an indie flick or documentary (just saw tyson – AMAZING). journal about your dreams. make friends with yourself. sit and do nothing. turn off the tv. dash off to costa rica.
