The Sound of Music

I’m delighted to announce that pianist and composer Heather McAuliffe will be sharing her talent at our TDJ Soirée on Sunday, June 9. We’ve worked together over the years and you’ll hear her beautiful music on my first yoga CDs.

As we continue build on this detailed description of the event and add more sensory surprises, you’ll now be greeted with the sound of jazzy piano tunes by this gifted musician.

Last weekend I headed to Pittsburgh to hear my boy Garth play in his stadium tour (and fell in love with the opening act, Midland). Whew, I’m still on a high from the experience!

I love how it taps into emotional parts that can only be touched through lyrics, rhythm, melody, harmony, and overall texture. I’m sure you, too, have found the sound of music to be transformative.

Of course, I had to explore further and, yes, there’s a whole music therapy program. Clearly we’re not alone in our connection to its effect on our overall well-being. Now, please excuse me while I put Midland’s album on repeat. Again. Bisous. x

How and when can we pre-order or purchase the new Dayplanner? How does it differ from your Year of Tranquility Planner? Thank you.

Hello Sandra: the Daybook will be available on Amazon early June and I’ll be sure to let everyone know as soon as it’s ready! I’ll also do a blog post outlining the difference. Basically, Year of Tranquility is has no weekly layouts and 12 essays/4 weekly practices not found in the Daybook. It’s more of a lifestyle planner and you can search inside it on Amazon. The Daybook has 60 weekly layouts plus all the Year of Tranquility lifestyle pieces MINUS the 12 essays and associated weekly practices. Hope this helps and thanks for your enthusiasm!

Kimberly, thanks so much for your reply!
I’m new to your website and really enjoying it. I was able to vote for the lovely cover of your new Dayplanner. Looking forward to seeing it on Amazon.
Thanks for the helpful info. I’m thinking there’s some Amazon ordering in my very near future . . . two items in particular! Take care! 🌷
