while i make my way this week complete with a fuzzy haze of grief, i wanted to share a quick piece on mindful writing. this friday i’ll be leading a yoga and writing workshop at tranquil space and see a poetic connection between the two. namely, both:
– are practices
– involve setting intentions
– are done best by releasing expectations
– help us connect to our senses
– involve the practice ahimsa/non-violence
– are about perseverance and showing up
here are some helpful tips on mindful writing:
as maya angelou reminds us, “there is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.” now put pen to paper at some point this week and see what flows. there’s no time like the present. bisous. x
