I’ve always been a fan of mix-and-match {aka capsule} clothing and how perfectly it translates to the packing experience. In 2012 and 2013 I shared my packing lists for six weeks in France plus the many outfits the contents created. The small compact pieces took me from beach to yoga to museums to sidewalk cafes, and even lavender fields.
In Tranquilista and Tranquilologie I also shared travel tips for making your journey more tranquil. I love, love, love traveling, but don’t want to arrive overburdened with too much stuff or without creature comforts {hello earplugs, yoga mat, water bottle, inspiring reads, lip balm}.
These montages were created to help dear readers prepare for weekends in the city and outside of the city with TranquiliT staples and items you may have on hand {sunnies, straw bag, hats, earrings, tights, clutch, ballet flats}. As the spring look book emerges over the next few days, I wanted to share these packing tips for your upcoming adventure.
Here are some additional suggestions for capsule wardrobe packing from What Every Woman Needs and Un Femme. Think light, able to dress up and down, and comfy chic {sans stark white tennies unless you’re going for a run}. What is your favorite must-have packing tip? Now let’s get an excursion in our Daybooks. Bisous. x
