finding your creative flow in business and in life
at cleveland park club house in washington, dc
wednesday, july 9, 2008, 7:00-9:30pm
Join Kimberly Wilson, Creatress of Tranquil Space and author of Hip Tranquil Chick: A Guide to Life on and off the Yoga Mat, for an exploration of creativity and yoga as an extension of our business. Learn creative tools and techniques to help you navigate your business and your life with more ease and effectiveness. Kimberly used these yoga and creativity-centered techniques to start and run three thriving, complimentary businesses and a non-profit.

In this session, you will experience practicing yoga on-the-go that you can do anywhere, creative journaling and engaging in svadyaya (self-study) while connecting with others. You will learn how starting and running a business is similar to a yoga practice, how to integrate the mind and body - and why that's important in business; creative avenues for business expansion; and how to access your flow state. You will leave with practical action steps and a better understanding of simple, socially conscious ways to flow creatively at work and beyond. registration is $20 at the door, presented by capitol creativity network.

"Just wanted to say thanks for such an inspiring, motivating weekend! I came home and was just overflowing with creative energy and momentum. I used the collage we made as part of an alter....something that I haven't done in a while. Every morning I get up and do my yoga in front of the alter and am reminded of all of my intentions. It's amazing how quickly the universe seems to respond when one is clear about what they want in their lives! Anyways, I think that you orchestrated a wonderful retreat that just had so much to offer and I wanted to say THANK YOU!"

"Just so you know, I've already starting taking some of those action steps I set forth for myself (got in touch with an old friend who I've missed dearly and we have lunch plans for this week; plus I've started cleaning out the clutter in my bedroom space to make room for new, beautiful flair-filled items)...I am so very grateful to you for inspiring me."
