one of the daily checklist items in the tranquility du jour daybook is “journal.”
sitting alone with my thoughts, a pen, and paper brings about a moment of tranquility. out with the old and in with the new.
it’s my opportunity to reconnect to a larger purpose, surrender what may be weighing on me, and reveal what is going on inside.
some days it flows and flows and my pen has trouble keeping up with my thoughts. others, it rarely gets beyond date, time, and location.
i encourage you to pull out a pen and paper at some point today. pour a cuppa tea. spend a moment alone with your thoughts. notice what is bubbling up to the surface. what wants attention? what wants acceptance? what beckons surrender? what needs recording?
here are a few prompts to get your creative juices flowing. and here’s why you should do it. bisous. x
