Today was my last full day in Paris and I’ll be on a flight shortly en route to DC. It’s a bit of whiplash.

The week has been magical and mainly because of the time I got to spend with so many people: a former Tranquil Space teacher who lives in Virginia, a former Tranquil Space workshop participant turned Coterie love who lives in Paris, a former Tranquil Space student and her French husband who live in Normandy, my web designer who lives in Versailles, Tim’s cousin and her fiancé (they got engaged here!) who live in Belgium, and a new friend from this year’s June Paris retreat who lives in Canada.

I tend to keep to myself, so having tea dates, wine dates, lunch dates, and dinner dates felt surprisingly good. I mean, I feel full. Not stuffed, but satiated.

That’s a lot of social time for this INFJ, HSP! And I liked it. Although I’ll need some serious replenishment time once home tomorrow. Baths, pug time, Tim time, journal time, and hosting the Coterie writing masterclass. Ooh la la!

Here’s a list of this week’s experiences in no particular order: Seine boat cruise, private floor barre class, ballet at the Opera Garnier, six sketchbook workshops, croissants, salads, cookies, macarons, pizza, 30 metro rides, seven glasses of wine, limpy hip and pink cane, vegan Belgium chocolates (merci, Sara), sidewalk cafes, walking 8,000-15,000 steps/day, rain, bone chilly weather at times, 10 pots of green tea, berets, leopard-print gloves, hot pink wide-legged pants, watercolor pencils, trip to Musée de la Vie romantique, packed everything into a carry-on and personal item, Bastille marché, sketching, TDJ Style Pop-Up {replay}.

Thanks for traveling with me! I’m already dreaming up my next Parisian adventure and appreciate you following along. Wishing you sweet moments with people who energize you and in a setting that inspires. Bisous. x
